Perspective on the Mercedes EQB 250+
The Mercedes-Benz EQB 250+ is a newer, fully electric SUV part of the EQ family. This Mercedes EQB is just one of four fully electric vehicles available beginning in 2022. These models are the first branch of fully electric models for Mercedes, and they are a pleasant surprise. These models include the EQB, EQE, EQS sedan, and EQS SUV. The EQB has several trims, including the EQB 250+, 300, and 350. The specific model I’m focusing on (250+) has long been awaited and was finally released in early 2023. Equipped with a 66.5 kWh battery with an estimated range of 250 miles, the EQB can last for a long time. The EQB 250+ might look like a smaller SUV but it is still very family-friendly.
In terms of performance, the EQB does not disappoint. Its motor contains 188 horsepower and approximately 288 lb-ft of torque. The torque and engine combo allows the vehicle to go from zero to sixty in just over eight seconds.
I got to drive the EQB 250+, which was a terrific experience. It was smooth while also packing some power in it. If loud cars are not your style, you should be excited by this car. Even when accelerating, the car does not make any noise. The seats are easily adjustable and can be stored in memory in case you have more than one driver, making it more convenient and easier to switch drivers. Not only can the seats be easily adjusted, but they are also highly comfortable. When I first sat in the car, I sank right into the seat. I prefer the shifter not to be behind the right side of the steering wheel, but in doing this, Mercedes freed up space where a standard shifter would be. In this space, they added a comfortable hand rest with a touchscreen while leaving room for two cupholders. Mercedes also added a wireless phone charger behind the cupholders to provide an easy way to keep your phone alive. There are also paddle shifters behind the steering wheel that can put the car into recuperation mode. This mode provides you with a more sensory driving experience and adds engine braking to your drive to brake faster and easier. A key feature that I enjoyed was the trunk privacy screen. The screen gave me a sense of safety when driving and parking in the city.
The roads here in Illinois are nothing to be proud of. You can’t even go two miles without running into potholes and cracks. Luckily the suspension on the car makes even the roughest roads feel smooth. Mercedes-Benz prides themselves on creating a smoother driving experience for all their consumers.
One of the best features of the EQB 250+ is the vehicle’s interior. It was designed with comfortability in mind. It contains all real leather seats and provides comfort for up to five people, making it an excellent choice for families.
Another reason that the EQB 250+ is perfect for your family is because it is well-equipped with the newest safety features. The car comes with adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, and a 360-degree camera system. It also comes with a parking assistance system which makes it easier to park in those tight places. With all these safety features, the EQB 250+ has been given a 5-star safety rating from the European New Car Assessment Program, but not yet rated by the NHTSA as it is such a new release.
The EQB comes with loads of standard features to make your life easier. These features include hands-free Bluetooth® connectivity, a programable garage door opener, a built-in wireless phone charger, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen display used to control the vehicle’s infotainment system. A digital display also displays information such as speed, battery level, and the estimated range.
I have never been a big fan of electric cars, but this one surprised me. I drive a gas-powered vehicle, and there is a huge difference when you use the pedal. Gas-powered cars provide a lot of resistance when pushing down on the accelerator, making long drives tiring and not worth it. These EQ models are very smooth and give the perfect resistance when accelerating.
The EQB 250+ is perfect for your family with all the latest features and gizmos. In addition, this car will provide you and your loved ones with high levels of safety and comfort. So next time you consider getting a car, check out the new 2023 Mercedes EQB 250+.
