2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 SUV

When getting behind the wheel of the all-new 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 SUV, the first thing you notice is the 11.9-inch touchscreen located in the center of the dashboard. Pairing the center screen with the dashboard display behind the wheel offers an immersive and luxurious feel for the driver. MB navigation, which provides ease with directions displayed on the new touchscreen, comes standard in both the Exclusive and Pinnacle trim and available in the Premium. The touchscreen allows for Apple Carplay and Android Auto, as well as the ability to use both wirelessly. The standard front cabin feature in the Exclusive and Pinnacle trim (available in the Premium) comes with a wireless charging station, allowing for passengers to place a compatible device on the charging pad without needing a cord. The screen size increase in comparison to the 2022 GLC 300 multimedia screen makes it easier to view navigation, change music, and switch between driving modes. While looking at the new touchscreen, you may notice the 64-color LED ambient lighting accents throughout the vehicle. The LEDs can be changed between colors, and offer a customizable ambience that can be seen throughout the cabin. The GLC 300 offers three unique driving dynamics, with those being ECO, Comfort, and Sport. Most of my time was spent in comfort mode during my test drive of the GLC 300, and I can say with confidence that it was the smoothest car ride I have experienced. The car almost feels like it is gliding across the road without any disruption. Sport mode offered a much quicker and more exhilarating drive, as it focuses more on speed and performance. Another feature of the GLC that may not be expected is the ability to take it off-road. The off-road mode offers the driver high confidence on dirt, gravel, and sand. The new touchscreen shows a multitude of parameters revolving around off-roading including tilt angle, direction, and engine data.

When speaking on the topic of off-roading, the safety of the vehicle may be put into question. The safety features on the GLC 300 SUV include Active Brake assist, ATTENTION ASSIST®, and Blind Spot Assist. While driving, the Blind Spot Assist was very convenient for me when switching lanes on busy roads. Many of the safety features on the GLC 300 SUV help you feel a lot more comfortable behind the wheel. Sensors in the front of the car can sense when a person or vehicle is being approached too quickly, and will brake before you can react (if you are not able to react quick enough). The GLC 300 SUV also has seven airbags placed throughout the cabin, so if an impact were to occur, the passengers will be more protected. Moving onto luxury features, the car comes equipped with power front seats that can memorize up to three preferred seat positions. The power seat adjustment was a very convenient feature, as I was able to move the seat to the way I prefer as soon as I sat down. The car also comes standard with heated front seats, and the option for ventilated seats. The ventilated seats provided lots of comfort during my drive on a hot June day. The car comes with power-folding side mirrors, which help when parking in tight spaces. The side mirrors can also be programmed to project light when entering the vehicle, making it easier to see while looking for your car at night. Overall, the Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 SUV is a very luxurious vehicle, while also being the most demanded Mercedes available. The accents on the outside of the vehicle come in a gloss black color and go with every color perfectly. The GLC also offers many features to make your car feel one-of-a-kind, such as the choice between leather or sport style steering wheel, or the choice of tire size and spoke style. The GLC 300 offers multiple interior trim packages which can match perfectly to the interior lighting options, allowing for complete personalization inside the cabin. The GLC 300 has three trim packages, with those being the Premium, Exclusive, and Pinnacle trim packages. All three come with an option of a panorama roof, as well as many other choices of features to pair with the vehicle. With eleven different exterior colors to choose from, there are plenty of ways for your vehicle to stick out and feel as if you designed it yourself. When comparing various Mercedes-Benz models, the GLC 300 is the perfect combination of a family vehicle and a luxurious SUV. Starting at only $47,100 MSRP, I highly suggest taking the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 SUV for a test drive.
